  • This is a nursing position specializing in Med/Surg at IA_Methodist West Hospital.
  • The primary role involves caring for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, Pneumonia, Covid, and Sepsis, as well as assisting in spine surgeries and managing withdrawal symptoms.
  • Nurses are responsible for maintaining a high level of patient care and ensuring safety.

    • Must have License/Certification.
    • Requires at least one successful previous travel assignment.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift Times: 12N.
      • Hours per week: 36 or 48 options available.
      • Shift requirement is every third weekend.
      • Float Requirement: as needed within skillset.
      • Holiday Work: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays, with restricted time-off around holiday dates.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:5.
        • The unit size ranges from 21-30 beds.
        • Common procedures and treatments carried out include care for patients with CHF, COPD, Pneumonia, Covid, Sepsis, providing support for spine surgeries, and managing withdrawal symptoms.
          • Additional Details
          • Interview: Auto Offer mechanism in place, with offers expiring after 48 hours if not accepted or declined.
          • Start Date: ASAP.
          • EMR: Experience with Epic required.
          • Flu and COVID vaccine required; exceptions for medical or religious reasons are acceptable.
